Hohokus area set to celebrate in support of mental health
This past year has been a tough one for many, and a Hohokus celebration will highlight the importance of mental health.
The festivities held at Secaucus’s Buchmuller Park will offer fun with a higher purpose. The attendees will have an opportunity to discover the range of community supports that may be helpful to those living with depression or another mental illness, and the organizers noted that after a year of lockdowns and other Covid restrictions, the event may be especially welcome.
The line-up for the day includes entertainers, with music and comedy both on the agenda. Along with this, members of the public who attend the function will be able to visit the vendor booths. Many of these organizations and companies will be in the mental health field, and the festivities are scheduled to run for eight hours.
