Hohokus vegans, along with anyone who is interested in finding out more about a diet free of meat and dairy, are welcome to attend the first ever Bergen County Vegan Market.
The occasion will see a wide assortment of vendors who offer vegan products come together, all in one location. Everything from food to haircuts will be available, and representatives of the different companies will be on hand to answer questions about their business and what is has to offer.
Those who come to the market will have an opportunity to sit in on presentations that will explore the ‘The Ethics of Eating’ and the impact on the environment that the standard American diet tends to create. A talk with Karen Ranzi is also on the agenda, and she will be discussing her views on how people can improve their diets and overall health.
Along with the discussions, vendors, and other activities, live musicians will be on site to keep the crowd entertained and add to the overall festive feel of the day. The organizers have planned it as a free event, and they invite everyone to come and check it out.
