What's Happening in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ…

Bogata Beautiful to show Earth a lot of love

Caring for the Earth doesn't have to be complicated, especially if everyone pitches in. Bogata Beautiful will be putting this theory into practice during a Hohokus area event, and it can be a great way to meet new friends and have a lot of fun doing it.

The group will be joining forces with others in the community that are concerned about the environment. This will be the fifth year that this celebration has been held, and all ages are invited to participate.

Those who register for the event will be working on a variety of projects that will aid in keeping the community beautiful, and one of these will be installing a new fence at Olsen Park. Several short presentations have been scheduled, and all the volunteers will be treated to cold drinks and snacks to help fuel their work.

Those who plan on volunteering with the projects are asked to bring along a pair of work gloves and a smile and be prepared to have a lot of fun and make new friends. Special t-shirts that include the organizer’s logo design can be prepared for this type of function, and they can be worn by the staff and helpers, offered as a draw prize and sold as a fundraiser for the group.

This year’s Bogota Earth Day celebration will be held on May 4th. It will be set up at 157 West Main Street.
