Big rigs to roll in for Hohokus area Touch a Truck event
During the Touch a Truck celebration coming up soon, exploration of big vehicles will be the order of the day.
Hohokus families are welcome to be among the crowd anticipated for this community event, which has been planned by Junior League of Bergen County. First responder vehicles, trucks, and other large equipment will be parked on site, and the kids can turn on the lights, honk the horns, and discover how these big rigs work.
While the trucks may be the stars of the show for many of the attendees, there will be lots more to see and do as well. There will be face painting, bouncy houses and other activities for the kids, while the older guests can visit the vendor tables.
The planners of the Touch a Truck gathering noted that they expect it to draw a crowd of at least 1,000. A large celebration like this can be a great opportunity for a business to showcase itself to potential customers, and if they have a stack of professionally made business cards on hand, they will be able to put their best foot forward.
The parking lot at Garden State Plaza will see this family friendly expo of heavy equipment on May 17. Both individual and family ticket packages are available.
