The Pineville Department of Parks and Recreation recently announced that it will be conducting a survey amongst the residents of the town, beginning at the end of the month, in order to best determine how to spend its money on its facilities.
Users of the recreation facilities from outside the town are encouraged to participate too, so no doubt flyer printing and poster printing are being used by the Department to make this announcement, so as to encourage as many people as possible to participate in the survey.
According to the director of the Pineville Parks and Recreation Department, Kristy Detwiler, the survey will enable the department to get input on users’ requirements and desires, as well as whether existing programs meet the needs of the community. The results of the survey will also help the Department in its decision-making for the allocation of resources and to which grants it should apply in order to make improvements for the future.
Along these lines, Detwiler added that the survey will enable the Department to create a master plan so that it can apply for grants from the state and federal government. The Land and Water Conservation Fund, the Parks and Recreation Trust, and the North Carolina trails program are just a few of the organizations that provide funding for parks departments.
In order to conduct the survey, $23,000 was approved by the Pineville Town Council, which included $20,000 for the needs assessments and the remaining amount to Print and mail Postcards reminding residents to complete the survey.Get a Free Quote for Postcards Get a Free Quote for Print
