Herb gardening is a hobby that offers many rewards, and a Pineville area class will help the beginner to get growing.
The Elizabeth “Pepper” Dowd Education Building is set to provide space for a class that will be facilitated by an area horticultural expert. The tips, techniques, and other information shared can be used whether someone has a large outdoor space, an apartment or condo balcony or a rooftop garden, and anyone who is interested can choose to attend either in person or online.
During the presentation, which will be led by Guilford Garden Center’s Christina Larson, the attendees will discover how easy it can be to plan, design and install an herb garden. This can be a fun way to learn some basic growing techniques. Everyone will go home with some sample designs as well as recipes so that they can enjoy the fruits of their labors.
Gardening is a hobby enjoyed by many, and more people are discovering it for themselves. A workshop offers the public a chance to get started, and plant ID tags, gardeners’ Notebooks and Journals, promotional Pens, seeders and even gardening gloves can be crafted by a printing series company.
This introduction to the ins and outs of herb garden design will be held on February 16. It is set to begin at 10:00 am.
