As a new year begins, residents of Pineville are reminded that the new trash and recycling pickup schedule has been posted, and they may want to check it out to see how it impacts them.
The community released its “Pineville Today” publication for the first quarter of 2021, and the dates, times and other details about trash and recycling pickup have been included. It contains details about what can be put out, as well as how to contact the recycling center to ask questions or get additional information.
According to the guide, each household has been provided with two rollaway containers, with the blue being for recycling and the green for other trash. The garbage will be picked up weekly, while the recyclables will be gathered biweekly. Details were shared about how to make arrangements for the collection of large and bulky items, and televisions and electronic and construction waste needs to be dropped off at the Fox Hole Recycling Center.
According to the community’s website, Copies of “Pineville Today” have been made available at the Town Hall, as well as various locations throughout the city, and it is also on offer online. A brochure printing company will be able to prepare bound materials like these.
