The first new Speedway Drive-In Concert Series will be taking place later this month at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord.
This concert series, which will feature budding pop music artists, will be made possible by a partnership between the Speedway and Prime Social Group, a festival promoter in North America. Such concerts are often promoted throughout a community with poster printing.
The backstretch of the Speedway will be where artists perform live and the show will be broadcast on a Speedway video board measuring is 16,000 square feet in size. The music can be heard on a low-power FM stereo frequency in fans’ car radios. They will remain in their cars for the performance and will be allowed to bring their own refreshments.
Featured this month will be one of the Breakthrough Artists of 2020 from Rolling Stone, Quinn XCII, who will perform with Chelsea Cutler, an artist with Republic Records and a rising Pop star performer.
Tickets are available for purchase by SUV, truck, or car, with up to six people per vehicle. Prices range from $130 for an obstructed view to $375 with a clear view of the stage and screen. The first concert will take place on Friday, September 26 with gates opening at 6:00 pm and the concert beginning at 8:30 pm.
