A new museum honoring the decade of the 1990s is now opened in Concord.

The Home of the 90s Museum celebrates the decade with rooms filled with memorabilia and colorful murals. The concept for the museum was originated by Jessica Jones in 2019 when she opened an Airbnb with a 1990s theme. Jones said that it was not so much that she was obsessed with the decade, but that she found many other people were. She added that her Airbnb was always booked and often was featured on social media by her guests.

She worked with local artists and business partners in the area to find a space to enlarge upon and improve the concept. The result was the museum, which spans 2,000 square feet and has creative work from local artists. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts with more information about such museums and their major attractions.

She expects the museum to be popular and busy, as people like to travel down memory lane. The museum is also available for rental for private parties and functions.

The museum is open Thursday through Sunday, and closed Monday through Wednesday for private events. The price of admission is $30 per hour for those over the age of 12, $20 per hour for those between the ages of 4 and 12, and free for those under the age of three.
