Krispy Kreme recently opened a new store in Concord that offers a new kind of shopping experience.
Featured at the store are customer service and visual enhancements, along with doughnut-infused ice cream to be used for either scoop sandwiches or milkshakes, and customizable Original Glazed doughnuts. This is the first of 45 such stores that the brand plans to open around the country next year. Banner printing can be used at various sites to publicize the opening of such shops in a new part of town.
President, North America, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation, Andy Skehan, commented that this new concept maintains the heritage of Krispy Kreme but also serves to meet expectations and requests of its customers. He expressed his excitement about what this new concept will mean for the brand’s future.
The new menu will have hand-spun milkshakes featuring ice-cream filled with doughnut, topped with whipped cream and a mini Original Glazed doughnut. Another new menu item will be customizable doughnuts where customers can select from five drizzle flavors, five glazes, and 10 toppings, and order them in packs of three or by the dozen.
Customers can also view the entire process of making doughnuts while in the store. The store is also boosting the customer experience by offering online ordering and delivery and self-service pickup at the shop.
