New stores to come to shopping center in Concord

Concord Mills will be welcoming two new low-riced retailers to the mall.

Primark sells clothing for men, women, and children in addition to homeware, beauty, and lingerie at affordable prices. Its location will be at entrance 2 at the mall. Cotton On, a retailer from Australia, sells Apparel for men and women and accessories and will be at entrance 6.

Primark is based in Dublin and opened its first store in the United States in Boston is 2015. It now has 16 stores in the United States and is planning to expand to 60 stores by the end of 2026. The store in Concord Mills will be its first in the Carolinas and the retailer is planning to move into other southern states that will include Texas, Florida, and Alabama. Several full-time positions in the store are open and include a department and human resources manager.

The Cotton On Group has eight brands that include Rubi, women’s footwear; Cotton On Body; Typo, and Cotton On Kids. It has 1,500 stores in 22 countries. The company is planning an expansion of thousands of stores during the next five years.
