A new branch of H&E Equipment Services Inc. (H&E) is now open in Concord.
H&E Equipment Services is an integrated equipment company that provides equipment sales, service, and rentals. The new store is on Biscayne Drive and is the eighth such location of the company in North Carolina.
The new facility spans 8,000 square feet on a piece of property that covers 2.5 acres. It has a repair shop with five service bays, a warehouse for parts, a fully-fenced in yard, and office space. Many kinds of general industrial and construction equipment will be able to be serviced here to add support those in Charlotte and also in the Piedmont region and surrounding areas.

Specialties of this branch include machinery for earthmoving, compaction equipment, generators, telescopic forklifts, and telescopic forklifts from manufacturers such as Wacker Neuson, Link-Belt Excavators, Hy-Brid Lifts, and Miller.
Mike Sonntag, branch manager, said that it is expected that the market will grow in Concord and the North Charlotte area such that a new facility in the region was needed. He added that this new facility will be able to provide the high levels of customer service and support that will be needed for the many upcoming projects.
