Mexican restaurant to open in Concord

Talkin’ Tacos is now open in Concord.

This first location in North Carolina spans 1,850 square feet and can seat 48 people. The restaurant is on Christenbury Parkway. The eatery is known for its taco salad, pico de gallo (Mexican salsa), refried beans, churros, and rice bowls.

Banner printing is often used at such sites to announce the opening of such new restaurants and their offerings.

Patrons order their food with self-serve kiosks to facilitate service. Talkin’ Tacos features 11 options for tacos, including vegan, Caribbean Carne, mahi mahi, and Southwest chicken. There are also several birria choices such as ramen, pizza, and street corn in a cup. Dessert options include Tajin and Chamoy gummies, a house-made horchata, and loaded churros.

Talkin’ Tacos started out as a food truck in Miami in 2020 and developed into a fast casual Mexican restaurant across the state of Florida. The chain has 17 locations in New York, Atlanta, and Washington D.C, and plans to open six more this year.

Mohammad Farraj, co-founder of Talkin’ Tacos, expressed his thrill in being able to bring its vibrant atmosphere and bold flavors to North Carolina. He said that the food scene in the area is growing rapidly and he is happy to be part of it.

The restaurant is open seven a week from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
