Industrial building in Concord changes hands

An industrial facility in Concord has been purchased by Stonelake Capital Partners from by SL Industrial Partners, an affiliate of The Silverman Group.

The facility spans 402,390 square feet and is fully occupied. It is within the Concord Airport Business Park on Northwinds Drive NW. The Silverman Group developed the industrial campus of seven buildings.

This is the first purchase of Stonelake in the metropolitan Charlotte area. The building is a Class A facility and includes clear heights of 36 feet, 84 dock-high doors, and four doors at grade level. The facility is being used by Amazon as a fulfillment center.

It was the first building on the campus and is one story high. Close to 39 acres, it is close to Interstate 485 and Concord Padgett Regional Airport, which allows for easy connections in the area.

Stonelake has been focused on entering the market in Charlotte over the past six months as rising interest rates have create a unique environment for acquiring assets which are typically located within urban areas and have limited development opportunities. The efforts by Stonelake to actively seek new development and acquisition opportunities in the Charlotte area are being led by Jack Harvey, Marc Hedrick, and Will Jenkins.
