Concord receives special recognition

Downtown Concord has been selected by HGTV as one of the 30 Most Charming Small-Town Downtowns in America.

As the only city in North Carolina to make the list, HGTV selected Concord for its unique boutiques and restaurants, vibrant art scene, small town charm and lively historic district. HGTV is a real estate and home improvement television network.

Downtown Development Manager for the City of Concord, Johnson Bray, said that the community loves the downtown and takes pride in preserving its history while also offering new experiences for both visitors and residents. He added that this is a great affirmation that others have recognized the many small businesses and others who help to make the downtown so special. Such special recognitions can be added as part of a Logo Design on Flyers and other materials that showcase the many amenities of such towns.

This is also a testament to the work of the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) whose goal is to feature the many and diverse places for tourists to explore and visit throughout the county. President and CEO of Cabarrus County CVB, Donna Carpenter, said that her organization takes great pride in sharing and highlighting the stories of the county. She added that the county has many wonderful places to explore and her organization encourages people to travel to the county and to the town of Concord.
