An exterior renovation project will be getting underway at the Concord Mills outlet shopping center.
Owner of the mall, Simon Property Group, said the renovations will include upgraded entry and directional signage, refreshed landscaping, and LED lights at the entrances to the mall. The mall will remain open during the construction, which is expected to be completed by August.
The interior of the mall was renovated last year. Four new lounge areas were added with new seating; the dining area was redesigned with new tables, chairs, LED lights, and tile flooring; the lighting and signage was improved; and valet parking was added.
General manager for Concord Mills, Ray Soporowski, commented that there is a continuous search to enhance the shopping experience in the Charlotte area, so that the multi-phase renovation was very much needed. This is why the mall has places like Dave and Buster’s and a movie theater.
As customers do more and more shopping online, there has been an increasing number of reinvestments by mall property owners to boost traffic. A report from a Chicago investment management company, JLL, revealed that more than $8bn has been spent by mall owners in renovations over the last three years.
Banner printing companies can be hired to create displays in the community so that people learn about new amenities and attractions in shopping centers.
