Concord’s Weyhauser distribution Center recently marked its 20th year in the community with a special event.
The company celebrated its
anniversary in the area by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new office space, which has been completed and is now ready for business. A variety of community leaders, including the mayor, were on hand for the festivities, which included activities for its customers and associates. A Print company can design and prepare a variety of Corporate Gifts that can be used to give to those in attendance on occasions such as this.
The manager of the Weyerhaeuser Distribution Center in Concord, Jan Marrs, remarked how he was pleased to be able to offer its clients a tour of the facility and also to have a chance to show how much the company appreciates their patronage. It currently employs 45 associates, who inventory the items as they are received from suppliers all over the country and then send them out to its more than 500 customers as the orders come in.
The enterprise has over 25,000 products that it can make available to its customers. These include a huge range of building supplies such as lumber, decking, trim, metal items, panels, insulation, railing and more. According to Marrs, it supplies over 20,000 of board feet each year, which amounts to enough to construct 10,000 homes.
