Coding camps to take place in Concord

Code Ninjas will be holding many camps this summer from June through August at its location in Concord.

More details about such classes and their costs and any requirements can be made available with brochure printing.

Camps for children between the ages of 7 and 12 include the Game Builders’ Club and the App Builders’ Club. The Game Builders’ Club will have kids building their own video games every day using the Scratch programming language. The App Builders’ Club will enable kids to create and build their own app for smartphones and tablets using the App Inventor from MIT. Each club is a half-day activity and runs from Monday, June 15 through Friday, June 19.

Camps for children between the ages of 10 and 15 include Roblox Royal and Beginning JavaScript. Kids attending Roblox Royal will be able to build their own Battle Royale using Roblox. Beginning JavaScript will provide an introduction to coding using JavaScript. These are also half-day classes and run from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26 and then again alter in July and August.

Another camp for kids between the ages of 10 and 15 is Program and Play on Python. This camp provides real-world experience in computational thinking and will teach kids how to solve problems with basic computer concepts. This half-day class runs from Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17.
