Avelo Airlines is now offering nonstop service from Concord-Padgett Regional Airport to Lakeland Linder International Airport in Lakeland, Florida.
These flights will occur twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. Boeing 737 airplanes will be used for the flights, with prices starting at $46 for a one-way trip.
Andrew Levy, CEO of Avelo Airlines, expressed his delight in being able to offer travelers in Concord and the Charlotte area a direct flight into the heart of central Florida. He said that customers flying between Lakeland and Concord-Padgett can expect their flights to be quicker and smoother, as the airports served by his company are more convenient and smaller. He also expects that those from Florida will find many attractions in the Concord and Charlotte area.
Avelo will also be offering five more routes from Concord starting this month. There will be regular flights to Philadelphia/Wilmington, Hartford, and Manchester/Boston, as well as to two cities in New York State—Rochester and Albany.

The flights between Concord-Padgett and Albany International Airport, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, and Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut will be on Thursdays and Sundays, while those between Philadelphia/Wilmington and the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport will be on Mondays and Fridays.
