The Fair Saint Louis is returning to the city for the 34th year, taking place for three days. It is the largest annual celebration of Independence Day in the area.
Visitors to the fair will have a wide range of activities to choose from, and there is sure to be something for everyone. Two stages will be providing entertainment from performers such as Bonnie Raitt, The Fray, the USAF Band of Mid-America's Hot Brass Band, and the Flying Wallendas.
There will be a salute to the troops, a wake challenge featuring wake boarders and a water ski club, and a world record challenge from Post Foods. A children's parade will travel through the St. Louis Zoo and a fireworks display will close the fair every night.
July 4 will feature the 132nd annual Veiled Prophet parade, beginning at 10:00 am. This year's theme is ‘Inspiring Stories’ and it will feature vehicles, floats, and marching bands.
It is likely that visitors will come to the festival from all over the area, including nearby Manchester. Posters and Flyers, obtained from local Stationery printers, have likely been distributed throughout the community.
