St. Louis to publicly shoot multiple music videos

Lo-Fi St. Louis will be holding an event in April where it will film several music videos on the same street.

Lo-Fi Cherokee is an annual experience that began in 2012 where people can see music videos being filmed live by a professional organization. Each shoot will be held on Cherokee Street to capture the area’s energy and diversity. The event was created to attract the attention of listeners through word of mouth and social media. Once the filming is finished, the audience can attend a wrap party at the venue. Another party will be held after the music videos are released.

Lo-Fi St. Louis started as an experimental organization in 2004 that wanted to publish regular video content online. Instead of using modern platforms like YouTube, the group self-hosted its own site. People interested in supporting the organization can purchase branded T-shirts and stickers. The shirts can be colored blue or back, and each style will include a line-up of the performers at Lo-Fi Cherokee.

The event will be on Saturday, April 8 from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. There is no cost to attend the shoot, and all registered visitors will receive a swag bag. Those interested in purchasing a T-shirt can pay $25, and stickers will cost $1 each. Companies that sell merchandise at events like this may add their logo design onto the items to raise their visibility.
