St. Louis to host inaugural music and BBQ festival
A new community festival organized by The Just Listen Company and Contemporary Presentations will be debuting in St. Louis at Forest Park.
The Evolution Festival is an event that brings together live music, BBQ fare, and bourbon tasting for an elevated concert experience. Steve Schankman and Joe Litvag are the co-producers for the fest. The first date of the fest will include performers like The Black Keys, Modern English, and the Sugar Hill Gang. The lineup for the event’s second day will feature artists such as Ice Cube, Morgan Wade, and Yard Eagle. People may bring standard-sized lawn chairs and light blankets to the venue.
Several distillers will attend the festival, including Lux Row Distillers, Wild Turkey Bourbon, and Rebel Bourbon. There will also be an appearance from Fred Minnick, a bourbon expert and author. People can order BBQ from various eateries at the fest, such as the Vegan Deli & Butcher, Pappy’s Smokehouse, and Heavy Smoke. Several notable pitmasters will be coming to the festival, like Zach Dingman and Phil Johnson.
The inaugural fest will be held on August 26th and August 27th. General admission to the fest will cost $200, and VIP packages start at $450. Discounts will be offered to concert-goers who register early. VIP passes include benefits like access to intimate tastings, private lounges, and demonstrations. Organizers for experiences like this may create custom promotional products for the VIPs at their events.
