St. Louis to celebrate Earth Day with fest
St. Louis will organize an event at the Muny Grounds in Forest Park this April to celebrate Earth Day.
The St. Louis Earth Day Festival is an event where people can learn more about sustainability practices and get inspired by the progress being made to save the planet. Many vendors will be attending the fest, such as Blooming Bling Permanent Jewelry, Home Thrown Bee Works, and Waterfall Glen Soap Company. People can eat at food vendors like Bayou Seasoning and Catering, Honey Bee Tea, and Thai Crispy Crepe.
Several performances will be held during the Earth Day festival from entertainers such as Paige Alyssa, Beth Bombara, and Sharon Bear and The Cubs. Guests can hear from notable speakers like Dr. Jess Watson, Heather Navarro, and Tishaura Jones. Many awards will be given at the fest, including the Keystone Community Activist Award, Circularity in Business Award, and Emerging Environmental Leader Award. There will also be a sustainable fashion show at the festival.
The St. Louis Earth Day Festival will be held from April 26th to April 27th, and both days of the event will last from 11 am to 5 pm. Companies that want to support the city’s fest can pay for sponsorships that range from $2,000 to $40,000. The benefits of supporting the festival include having a designated spot in the event program, stage banner representation, and being shown on the fest’s website. Cities with similar fests may use corporate gifts to thank their supporters
