St. Louis caroling association to perform at baseball game
The St. Louis Christmas Carols Association will participate in a special event at Busch Stadium in July.
Christmas in July with the St. Louis Cardinals is an event where people can show their seasonal spirit during a match between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Marlins. The activity will invite carolers from the St. Louis Christmas Carols Association onto the baseball field to sing the national anthem. Those who register for the program will receive a commemorative T-shirt, sheet music, and a practice recording they can use to learn the song in advance.
The St. Louis Christmas Carols Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1911 by William H. Danforth and a group of his friends. The group raises money for several charitable organizations, including the Community Council of St. Charles County and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. The association has raised more than $3m. People interested in caroling with the group can sign up for a virtual toolkit that contains a tutorial video, song sheets, and information sheets.
The Christmas-themed baseball game will be held on July 17 from 6:45 pm to 10:00 pm. Those who wish to be a caroler can pay $45 for a ticket, and non-singers can purchase tickets for $32. The T-shirt for the event is available for $25. Those in charge of programs like this may use logo design services to make unique apparel for their events.
