St. Louis brewery to celebrate oyster festival

The Schlafly Tap Room in St. Louis will be holding a large, two-day stout and oyster festival in March.

The Schlafly Stout & Oyster Festival is an event where people can order various types of oysters and beer while enjoying live music. The upcoming fest will feature roasted oysters, fried oysters, and oysters Rockefeller. The business will be brewing special stouts for the occasion, including an oyster stout and oatmeal stout. Guests may also order from the venue’s usual food menu if they sit at a table inside the brewpub.

The Schlafly Tap Room was established in 1991 and was designed by Samuel L. Sherer. The facility puts out 2,000 barrels each year and is the only venue that brews the Ibex Cellar series. Other facilities owned by the brand include the Schlafly Bottleworks Brewery and the Schlafly Bankside Brewery. The business organizes several events, such as Hop in the City, Burns Night, and Art Outside. Breweries like this may advertise their special programs to local patrons with poster printing.

The festival will be held on Friday, March 25th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, March 26th from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. No tickets or prior registration is needed to attend the tap room’s program. The complete list of bands for the event will be updated closer to the festival’s date.
