Country superstar Kenny Chesney is on his way to St. Louis, and tickets will be on sale soon. The announcement was made by the St. Louis Cardinals via Facebook, since the singer will be appearing in their home field, Busch Stadium. Old Dominion with their guest Brandon Lay, and Thomas Rhett, will open for Chesney, according to an article on KMOV.com.

Vicki Bryant, Cardinals' spokeswoman, said the team was thrilled Chesney would be coming to the stadium in summer, 2018, since his concerts are a:



“rite of summer for fans across the country”




Chesney's tour, called the “Trip Around the Sun Tour,” will arrive in the city next July 21.

Knoxville, Tennessee native Kenny Chesney has made 20 albums; the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has certified fourteen of these to be Gold, or even higher. He is also a record producer, having over 40 singles in the Top Ten on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart to his credit. Most of these songs have also ranked high on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, making him a successful country crossover artist. Worldwide, Chesney has sold more than 30 million albums.

Tickets for the show, which are sure to go quickly, will go on sale on October 27, 2017, at 10 am.
