Event will bring back memories of historic event

The 2nd annual St. Louis Worlds Fare Heritage Festival is being held next month over two days.

There are set to be many events and competitions that involve the history of the 1904 Worlds Fare that took place in St. Louis, and there will also be historic exhibits highlighting the area. Kids’ Island will have lots of fun activities to take part in, including hands-on exhibits, face painting, and children's performers

The festival will feature food from up to 15 area restaurants and food trucks, a beer garden, and musical entertainment. Among the groups performing at this year's festival are COCA, Woodford's Reserve, Looprat, The Nerd Herd, and Daughters of Zion. There will also be live art demonstrations and an Artists’ Village where a variety of arts and crafts can be purchased.

Another major feature of the festival will be the World Business Expo, with an emphasis on inventors and craftspeople from all over the country.

Sponsorships are available and volunteers are still needed.

It is likely that people from all over, including nearby Manchester, will want to attend the festival. To ensure they know about it, organizers may invest in services from local printing companies.

The St. Louis Worlds Fare Heritage Festival will be held at Forest Park from August 22 to 23. Admission is free. Call 314-853-6257 to learn more about this event.
