On June 23, O'Fallon Brewery opened the doors of its new brewery in Maryland Heights to the public. To celebrate, it crafted Westport Wheat, its newest beer.
Originally headquartered in O'Fallon, the brewery is one of the biggest and oldest craft brewers in the St. Louis area. The brewery, costing $11m and totaling 40,000 square feet, will take care of all the brewing the company used to do mainly at Wisconsin's Steven's Point Brewery.
O'Fallon will be selling its previous fermentation tanks and other machines to Michigan-based Tripel Root. According to Jim Corczyca, owner of O'Fallon's Brewery, 25,000 barrels can come out of the new brewery per year, yet there is potential to double that amount in the future. The facility will also brew craft beer for other companies like Big Muddy Brewing from Illinois, as it continues to grow as a business.
Fran Caradonna, the general manager and co-founder of the brewery, attended its opening and expressed her gratitude to those who spread the word about the original beer. Around 100 people came to the opening of the brewery.
The breweries could hire a flyer printing company to Print notices of the brewery's opening and put them in bars or clubs where they sell the beers in question. It would be a way for all the companies involved to reach potential customers.Get a Free Quote for Print
