Maryland Heights athletic academy to offer free event

TPH Academy St. Louis will be inviting hockey students to its facility in Maryland Heights to introduce them to the school.

TPH Day is a program where youths born between 2008 and 2012 can experience the academy’s Study, Train, and Play model of teaching. The activity will include a video lesson, off-ice warm-up, and training on and off the ice. Parents are also invited to the program to attend an academic presentation from the school. The half-day experience will be held at the Center Community Ice Center. Students and their parents will be served lunch at the venue.

TPH Academy is a school that offers customized programming for student-athletes. The CEO of the organization is Alan Keeso, and the vice president of the school’s St. Louis branch is Philip McRae. Those who attend the academy can go on field trips to museums and college campuses. Students will also receive visits from knowledgeable guest speakers like referees, coaches, and business executives. All enrolled children are required to take part in local community service projects.

The free program will be held on Friday, February 10 from 8:00 am to noon. Parents interested in attending TPH Day must register their children for the event in advance. Schools for athletes such as this may promote their upcoming activities to local families by using poster printing services.
