Arnold runners participate in marathon
Many runners here in Arnold will be heading to the Greater St. Louis Marathon coming toward the end of April.
The three-day event will have a marathon, half-marathon, 10k, 5k and a 1-mile Family Fun Run. Registration for the marathon will be $130, $105 for the half marathon, $55 for the 10k, $40 for the 5k and $30 for the family run.
Swag will include event shirts, finisher medals, and admission to the post-race party.
Race packets will be available at the Greater St. Louis Marathon Expo in Ball Park Village on Thursday, April 24th and Friday, April 25th.
Health, fitness and running vendors at expos like this often have flyer printing done in advance in order to have information flyers to slip in with purchases.
On race day, the WashU Hospitality Hub will open at 5:00 am. This will be an area set aside for runners, guests and sponsors to gather. It will include a race day information tent, coffee and snack stations, gear check tent, Lost and Found tent, a pre- and post-race stretching station and a welcome tour of St. Louis.
The full, and half marathons will begin at 7:00 am with the 5k beginning a half hour later at 7:30 am. Start time for the 1-mile Family Fun Run will be 9:00 am.
