Arnold rocks for cancer research
The 5th Annual Rock for Brett Concert for a Cause will be here in Arnold in late April.
Team Brett 2025, part of the St. Baldrick's Foundation, is putting on the event to support research into pediatric cancer. Most of the money will stay here in the St. Louis area through grants given to researchers and physicians affiliated with the Siteman Kids/St. Louis Children's Hospital, and this year's goal is $10,000.
Special guests will be The Nightmare-An Alice Cooper Experience, JoJo Matea and Aragon, a three brother's progressive rock band. Torchlight Parade, a winner of the St. Louis Post Dispatch STL Headliner award for three years, will be the highlight of the evening. Emcee for the evening will be Cat Mues. Food will be available for purchase and there will be 50/50 raffles, raffles for themed baskets, and a silent auction. Attendees over 21 may purchase $20 unlimited drinks bracelets.
Admission will be $20 for advance tickets, and $25 at the event. Kids can attend for free. Although this is primarily a fundraiser, many businesspeople usually keep plenty of business cards on hand in case anyone asks for one so it is worth attendees bringing some along.
