This February in Bloomington near Eden Prairie, the Minneapolis Ski Club (MPLS) will hold the Official 2025 MPLS Flyest, an event meant to showcase the best in ski jumping.
The MPLS is an organization that empowers and supports the emerging generation of endurance athletes specializing in the sport of skiing. The club works to support and train skiers of all ages and abilities by offering high-quality coaching programs and challenging training grounds. The club promotes a positive culture of self-discovery, enjoyment, and friendship within the sport.
The MPLS Flyest is a high-jumping ski competition that invites former and future Olympian skiers to showcase their skills on challenging tracks. Landmark ski jumps will propel the skiers 300 feet into the air as they compete for cash prizes, trophies, and bragging rights. There will be a test round and then two competition rounds. Spectators are welcome to watch next to roaring firepits and enjoy delicious refreshments from the various food trucks and vendors present.

The MPLS Flyest competition will take place on Saturday, February 15 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It will be held at the Bush Lake Ski Jumps located at 8401 East Bush Lake Road.
