Next month, the 2026 Prairie Wine & Brewfest will be held in Eden Prairie, bringing with it the opportunity to sample local wine and beer while supporting community initiatives.
The Prairie Wine & Brewfest is hosted by the Eden Prairie Community Foundation, which supports charities and other nonprofit organizations in the area by raising money for these programs, as well as helping them gain community grants. The Foundation has in previous years raised between $40,000 to $50,000 by way of the Brewfest for nonprofit partners.
The festival will feature tastings from regional and local vinters, distillers, and brewers. Wineries will include Prairie Lake Winery, Saint Croix Vineyards, and others. Breweries will feature companies such as Fat Pants Brewing and Steel Toe Brewing, while distilleries such as Dapper Barons will be represented. There will also be nonalcoholic beverages offered and a range of food vendors participating.
Guests will enjoy live music from Wondercure, and there will be door prizes handed out throughout the day from sponsors. Attendees will also be able to vote for the Brewfest's community grant participants.
Festivals engaged in giveaway activities may decide to partner with local businesses that act as sponsors and donate Promotional Products to use in door prizes.
