The City of Eden Prairie will invite the community to challenge themselves at the Inflatable Obstacle Course event in January.
The Eden Prairie Community Dive Pool will provide the venue space for the obstacle course. A part of the Aquatics Center at the Eden Prairie Community Center, the dive pool has eight lanes and two diving pools. The center typically offers swimming lessons, diving practice, and open recreational and lap swimming.
The obstacle course will comprise inflatable structures floating on the water. Participants are welcome to complete the course as many times as they would like during their allotted timeslot. Everyone participating, however, must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved lifejacket, regardless of swimming ability. The Aquatics Center will provide approved lifejackets in all sizes, and any brought from home will be checked by a lifeguard before swimmers enter the pool.
Events involving physical challenges will often include informative Posters explaining to participants how the event works. Such posters can be professionally printed at most local Print shops offering poster printing services.
The Inflatable Course Obstacle event is scheduled for Saturday, January 14. It will have three timeslots – 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, 2:45 pm to 4:15 pm, and 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Tickets are $15 per person, and the fee also includes access to open swim time.
