Fall festival open on weekends

A popular seasonal festival is up and running once again, and giving families a number of fun outdoor activities to engage in.

This year’s Sever’s Fall Festival is based on a corn maze named "The Amazon.” Guests will be tasked with going through the maze and looking for specific pictures that have been hidden at certain points. The guests will be given a hand-out with a map of the maze and they will mark down where they found Explorer Sever’s picture. Signage will help the guests find their way through the maze and local Print shops can prove useful in providing Signs for such events.

Once the guests have found the picture, they can go to the festival’s official website and input their results for a chance at winning a gift card worth $500. The maze is the main attraction, although people will be able to enjoy other exciting activities such as pony rides, zip lines, and an obstacle course.

Sever’s will also be offering its guests some completely new features at this year’s festival. Brian Sobaski, an artist from Minnesota, has joined the team and will be working on delivering a story time event accessible by drive-thru.

Another popular feature is the magical trail that passes through the rural prairie, tree farms and cornfields.

Sever’s Fall Festival and Corn Maze will be open every weekend until November 1 at 3121 150th Street West in Shakopee, a few miles out of Eden Prairie.
