Eden Prairie to have community consignment sale

Eden Prairie locals looking to unload old items should note that the Your Turn Consignment Sale will be happening next month.

Your Turn is a company that hosts and manages pop-up consignment sales for people who don’t have the time, space, or means to sell their items themselves. January’s sale will be a three-day event in which those around the Eden Prairie area can drop off their unwanted or gently used items at Your Turn’s designated pop-up location.

Consignors will be responsible for pricing their items before dropping them off. Organizers request that participants use 65lb white cardstock for printing their item tags. Those selling items should also bring hangers, safety pins, Ziploc Bags, clear packing Tape, and zip ties or ribbons. Consignors will keep 70% of their item sales, with 30% going to Your Turn to cover operating costs, taxes, and insurance, although 10 percent of net proceeds of this particular event will go to charity.

Sale events like this may need accessories or products that local Print shops can provide, such as printed tags.

The Your Turn Consignment Sale is scheduled for January 29 through January 30, while leftover item pickup is January 31. It will take place on 6868 Washington Avenue South. For more information on how to drop off items, visit Your Turn’s website.
