Next month, Eden Prairie STEM teachers will be able to network with fellow teachers and participate in enlightening discussions at the November STEM on Tap event.
This is a networking workshop series that connects STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) teachers of K through 12 grades with each other, as well as practitioners and valuable resources. The series is hosted at a different brewery each time with a different topic of discussion so that attendees can enjoy a refreshing beverage as they learn and converse.
The workshops are always led by an expert practitioner in their field. November’s topic will be Minnesota’s Love/Hate Relationship with Chlorides, and it will be led by Connie Fortin of Bolton & Menk, Inc. Dinner will be included in the event ticket, but beverages will be sold at an additional cost. After dinner, the presentation will be held, followed by a Q&A and networking session.

The STEM on Tap event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. It will be held at Fat Pants Brewing Co., which is located at 8335 Crystal View Road. Tickets can be purchased for $20 per person.
