Next month, Hope Fieldhouse will hold the Super Fest, a fully accessible sporting event that will welcome Eden Prairie youth of all levels of ability.
Hope Fieldhouse is an athletic facility with the mission of enriching the lives of children and their families by providing a fun, safe, and high-quality facility. Super Fest will enable youth ages 5 to 22, with and without disabilities, to enjoy a Super Bowl-like experience at an inclusive football and cheerleading sports clinic. All levels of experience from novice to advanced student athletes are welcome to participate.
There will be college football players and professional coaches there to teach helpful drills and techniques, and the Vikings and Gophers cheerleaders will also be teaching cheers on the sidelines. A dedicated quiet space will be set up for players who need a break from all the activity. Disability experts from Fraser, a provider of autism and early childhood mental health services, will also be on hand.
Community sporting events like this are often advertised though Flyers, which organizer can get affordably printed using the flyer printing services of their local Print shops.
The Eden Prairie Super Fest is scheduled for April 30. It will take place at Life Time Sport on 9520 Viking Drive, Eden Prairie. Registration can be arranged through donation, and the suggested donation is $5, although it can be as low at $1.
