Eden Prairie CPR class to benefit healthcare professionals

Next month, In-Pulse CPR in conjunction with the American Heart Association will host the CPR Heart Code Skills for E-learning Class in Eden Prairie for healthcare professionals needing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training.

Founded in 2009 by nurse Mollie Bowman, In-Pulse CPR is Minneapolis’ largest American Heart training provider. Mollie created the organization after becoming frustrated with the standard of CPR training courses she encountered in her own professional life. In-Pulse CPR provides students with dynamic, hands-on certification courses that are engaging and taught by experienced health professionals.

The CPR Heart Code Skills is designed for physicians, nurses, nursing students, hygienists, emergency medical personnel, dental students, pharmacists, and any other healthcare provider that requires CPR certification. This interactive class can only be taken after individuals have taken the online HeartCode® BLS course and have shown their American Heart Association Certificate of Completion to the class instructor.

Instructors of hands-on classes such as this may teach the class with a combination of demonstrations and poster graphics. Local businesses specializing in professional poster printing can help prepare poster materials for such events.

The Eden Prairie CPR certification course is scheduled for Monday, June 12 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. It will be held at the Fairfield Inn, which is located at 11325 Viking Drive, Eden Prairie. Class registration is $55 per person.
