Cadence Chiropractic in Eden Prairie is about to hold the Motion is Life 5K and 1 Mile Walk to benefit a local animal rescue.
Cadence Chiropractic is a local chiropractic practice run by Dr. Amanda Haeg, who practices the Pierce Results System, which views the body and its movements in holistic perspective. Motion is central to center's philosophy, hence the naming of its 5K charity run, Motion is Life. The charity event will support the operations of Twin Cities Pet Rescue, which is an animal rescue focused on rescuing, caring for, and adopting out animals in critical need, such as those who are at risk of euthanasia.
The event will feature a three-mile run course and a one-mile walk course, with participants encouraged to run or walk at their own desired pace. Pets are welcome to join both courses, and unregistered guests can join in as well. Those wishing to extend their help can also download WoofTrax, which will track steps and record them as donation points.
Poster printing as a method of advertising may be useful for running events like this because it enables organizers to get the word out in an easily visible way.
The Motion is Life event is slated for this Saturday, October 5, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. The run/walk will be held at 6409 City West Parkway.
