This June, Minnesota Brewery Running Series will present the 5k Beer Run x Fat Pants Brewing Co. event in Eden Prairie to get people active and raise money for local charities.
The Minnesota Brewery Running Series was founded in 2012 with the mission of promoting running and physical fitness while also giving back to the community. Hosting over 300 events each year, the running serres presents casual 5ks that anyone can participate in, whether they are running or walking. Some of the proceeds raised from each event go towards different charities and nonprofits in local communities.
The June event will take place in collaboration with Fat Paints Brewing Co. in Eden Prairie. The untimed 5k is a fun run on an open course, meaning no roads will be closed and participants will have to abide by all traffic laws. Organizers have mapped out a course that starts and finishes at the taphouse and winds through the scenic neighborhoods.
Participants will receive one free craft beer if aged 21 and up, and their choice of either a Brewery Running Series swag item or a collector’s pint glass with the event Logo Design inscribed on it.
The beer run is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 at 11:00 am. Fat Pants is located at 8335 Crystal View Road. Tickets are $35.
