Eden Prairie art studio to host independent art session
Kidcreate Kids Art Studio in Eden Prairie will hold Craft O'Clock next month for anyone interested in engaging in an open, unstructured art time intended to allow creativity to blossom.
Kidcreate is a local art studio founded by Lara Olson, who was frustrated at the lack of art spaces with a child-friendly environment. This prompted her to start an art studio and venue with a view to offering quality art education and a warm, welcoming environment. The studio hosts weekly classes, summer camps, homeschool classes, and special event sessions.
At Craft O’Clock, attendees will be able to choose their own art project on which to work, with supportive guidance available from the studio. There a will be a variety of projects to choose from, and attendees can choose this from a list offered during check-out. Attendees are welcome to stay as long as they would like. The session is designed for ages tween to adult.
Art sessions like this may involve posters as visual aids or examples. Organizers needing to print such materials may decide to visit area print shops that specialize in poster printing for art-related events.
