Eden Prairie area event to explore life with heart disease

The Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation has created a workshop for the Eden Prairie area that will explore a heart health topic, and it is free to participate.

Having a coronary stent and/or angioplasty can make a big difference in the life of someone with heart disease, however, not everyone knows how to live a healthy and active lifestyle afterwards.

With this in mind, several cardiologists will lead a discussion about coronary artery disease and how it can be treated through angioplasty and stenting. Once the group has a greater understanding of the topic, they will then move on to what to expect both before and after these procedures.

Along with the input from the professionals, a former patient will also share their experiences from their perspective. A review of current research is also on the agenda, and the panel of professionals and patients will answer questions from the assembled group.

While there is no cost to request a seat for this workshop, the organizers have asked that anyone who is interested should register ahead of time, as this will aid them in planning the occasion. By contacting a printing services company before an event like this, the planners can ensure they will have lots of Brochures, activity Journals and other informational items to give out.

Friday, March 1 has been set as the date for this opportunity. It will be offered at the Edina Country Club in Edina.
