Next month, the Eden Prairie High School (EPHS) Pom Squad will host a special dance clinic for kids wanting to learn some fun cheerleading moves.
The EPHS Pom Squad is a team of high school dancers that competes nationally in jazz, pom, and hip-hop. The squad is the only team from Minnesota to compete at the varsity level at Nationals. The dance clinic event will teach children ages preschool to 5th grade basic cheerleading and dance moves.
The one-day class will feature exciting choreography and dance skills taught by the squad members. Class registration will include a Dance Clinic T-shirt, although those who sign up after November 21 will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. Attendees will also be able to participate in a craft project and take a photo with the Pom Squad members. The participants will also put on a performance for family and friends after the dance clinic is finished.

The EPHS Pom Squad Dance Clinic is scheduled for December 5 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Check-in is at 12:45 pm, and the public dance performance will be held at 3:45 pm. Central Middle School on 8025 School Road will be the hosting venue. Preschool registration is $40, while K through 5th grade is $45.
