Capital Consulting Group in Eden Prairie will hold the 1 Hour to Savvy Cybersecurity Workshop next month to help individuals and businesses protect themselves against cybersecurity threats.
Capital Consulting Group is a fiduciary investment management group that helps people with financial planning. Held over Zoom, the group’s workshop will go over the top 10 cybersecurity threats people face in the modern world, and share tips on how to prevent these threats. Students do not need to be particularly tech savvy in order to gain insight from the material.
The class will begin with teaching attendees how to access the right mindset to approach cybersecurity threats. It will focus on how to utilize email addresses to protect financial accounts and how to create a password so that it beats the “password paradox” problem. Students will also learn what their current cybersecurity score is and how to improve it. Instructors will go over the techniques that security experts use, including methods to protect wireless networks from hackers and how to beat ransomware at its own game.
