Sever’s Holiday Lights Festival is held every year in Skakopee. Patrons will drive through a half-mile stretch in their cars while they enjoy the collection of lights. Vehicles are permitted to drive through as many times as they like on a single ticket. A soundtrack with 40 minutes of music is provided. Information like this could be shared with brochure printing.
A representative of Sever’s Festivals, Nicola Peterson, said:
“Especially this year, we are excited to provide a safe way for families to get out of the house and experience a vibrant, memorable activity that we hope will become a new holiday tradition for years to come.”
This year’s show will feature more lights than ever before. Every vehicle that passes through the show will be gifted with a swag bag. People can buy caramel corn, cider, and donuts from one of the concession stands located along the path.
The tickets are sold at $7 per person. Sedans will pay a maximum of $25 if all the seats are taken, and SUVs will pay a maximum of $40.
This year’s festival starts on November 26 and will be at the Sever’s Festival Fairgrounds in Shakopee. It runs from 5:00 through 9:00 pm on most days, extending to 10:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
