Summer scavenger hunt brings fun to Fenton

Fenton residents looking for a fun way to spend time outside will want to save the date, as a summer series is preparing adventures in town.

The Awesome Scavenger Hunt: Fenton’s Dazzling Dibbleville Dash will open enrollment in the coming weeks, giving interested parties an opportunity to explore and learn more about Fenton’s downtown area. Guests who sign up will be led by clues to some of the town’s best historic sites while bringing out their detective skills.

Participants will see and learn about Freedom Park and its World War One memorial, and decipher the engravings in the mid-19th-century grindstone. The scavenger hunt will also bring visitors to the site of the first log cabin established in Fenton in 1834. Organizers hope the event will bring further support to local restaurants and businesses. Flyer printing is an excellent way to promote such events by placing Flyers on bulletin boards and other public spaces.

The hunt is expected to last between 1.5 and 2 hours and will be a self-guided experience. Registered guests will need to download the Let’s Roam app to access the area map and follow clues from one to the next.

The scavenger hunt will begin in downtown Fenton on Tuesday, July 1st, at 8:00 AM. Interested parties can reserve their tickets online. Pricing is $14.99 per participant.
