A health-based educational event is coming to the Fenton area next month, and adults living with Type-1 diabetes are encouraged to attend.
The Michigan Slipstream 2024 event will start in a few weeks, providing outdoor activities and educational courses to adults with Type-1 diabetes. The first-ever event will be brought to attendees by Connected in Motion and Diabetes SoluT1ons to provide the camp experience to Michigan residents. The camp will be held at the YMCA’s Camp Copneconic.
Each guest will have access to a campsite, boating, and high-ropes courses. Heated four-season cabins are also available for a more comfortable camping experience. According to organizers, the camp is ideal for Type-1 diabetes adults to explore the outdoors. Guests can expect an active and social experience when attending the Michigan Slipstream.
