Rat hunting dog class set up in Farmington Hills

The dog training business Canine Adventures will be offering a rat hunting class for dogs and their owners in Farmington Hills this February.

It will be held in the businesses’ own building and will offer its students lessons on how to successfully hunt rats.

The class will be taught by Tenille Gross, who is the head of Canine Adventures. She is a certified Canine Behavior and Training Specialist and has years of experience at another elite dog training school in North Carolina.

During the class, owners will be taught about what rat training is and the keys to successful hunting. They will also be taught about different organizations and classes of the sport, as well as how to enter a trial for the sports. Brochure printing is often sources to provide more info to participants at events like this.

Dogs will be introduced to different rats and be able to practice different hunting exercises like tunneling and crawling on the hay. Owners are asked to keep their dogs on a non-retractable six-foot leash, bring water for them, and find a way to keep them quiet during instruction times. Dogs that are disruptive may be asked to wait outside.

The class will take place at 32250 W Eight Mile Road in Farmington Hills. The date of the class will be February 4, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Proof of vaccination and pre-registration is required. The class will cost $45.
