The Detroit Red Wings recently announced that Brian Rolston has been named to the position of director of Little Caesars Amateur Hockey.
Rolston will be tasked with overseeing the operations of twelve Little Caesars AAA clubs, as well the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League, and in addition, the Little Caesars Farmington Hills Hockey Association Tier 2 program. Organizations like this, which bring new employees aboard, could create Letterheads to use in welcome letters.
The Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League (LCAHL) was organized in order to give amateur hockey players a rewarding, positive experience with their chosen sport. The league emphasizes leadership and development, coaching excellence, sportsmanship, and fair play. The league works to improve the attitude and ability of its players while promoting the league itself.
Rolston said the LCAHL is the leader in hockey for young people, and he's honored to be chosen to head the organization. In his new position, Rolston will be the liaison between the LCAHL, the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association, and USA Hockey.
Rolston played junior hockey, hockey in college, and then spent 17 years playing in the National Hockey League. In 1995, he was a member of the New Jersey Devils, who beat Detroit to win the Stanley Cup.
Speaking for the Detroit Red Wings, Kris Draper said Rolston was a great choice to head the league, since he will bring the same dedication to his position as he brought to the ice.
